We are a family business specialising in growing classic roses, cottage perennials, grafted shrubs and trees.
Bare root roses are available for mail order between late October and March, these can be reserved throughout the year.
You can purchase containerised roses from the garden, county and country shows we are at (see Garden Shows tab), we are happy to take pre-orders along to shows. Or if you prefer you can make arrangements to collect from the nursery during the summer months.
** We now able to post containerised roses **
Due to courier costs we are unable to ship to the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Please contact us for a courier quotation.
We have introduced a wide range of standard roses, especially those with a high fragrance rating.
Standard roses are £25 each and the following varieties are available:
Absent Friends, Arthur Bell, Absolutely Fabulous, A Whiter Shade of Pale, Chandos Beauty, English Miss, Hot Chocolate, Margaret Merrill, Paul Shirville, Rosemary Harkness, Rhapsody in Blue, Ruby Wedding, Scentsation, Silver Anniversary, Special Anniversary, Thinking of You, Well Being, Ivory Romantica,
Champagne Moments, Red Perfumella, Nostalgia, Henri Matisse, Crazy for You, You're Beautiful, Rachel, Tequila Sunrise, Monica Bellucci
Our rose collection has been selected for both its fragrance and flowering quality.
Our classic roses will bring back memories of the colour and scent of yesterday's cottage gardens. The default price is the bareroot price; this will change when potted is selected. Some of the containerised roses may have been cut back after flowering to promote growth.
