Shrub Rose.

This classic old shrub rose, also known as a Moss Rose, features large, semi-double blooms in rich purple-magenta hues that gradually fade to shades of mauve and violet-grey.

The flowers are borne in open sprays and emit a strong, sweet fragrance reminiscent of Damask roses, enhanced by the distinctive green moss covering the calyx and stems. The plant exhibits a vigorous growth habit with thorny, arching stems and dark green foliage.

It is a summer-flowering variety, typically can reach heights of 7 to 8 feet (2.1 to 2.4 meters).
